How to Install the FS2004 - AlphaSim - De Havilland Sea Venom Patch
The De Havilland Sea Venom was a British carrier-based jet fighter-bomber that served in the Royal Navy and the Royal Australian Navy from 1956 to 1968. It was a navalized version of the De Havilland Venom, which itself was a development of the De Havilland Vampire.
AlphaSim was a company that produced high-quality add-on aircraft for various flight simulators, including Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 (FS2004). One of their products was the De Havilland Sea Venom, which featured detailed models, textures, animations, sounds, and flight dynamics. However, some users reported issues with the Sea Venom, such as incorrect gauges, missing effects, and compatibility problems with other add-ons.
To address these issues, AlphaSim released a patch for the Sea Venom, which fixed some bugs and improved some features. The patch was available for download from their website, but since AlphaSim closed down in 2010, the patch is no longer hosted there. Fortunately, some flight sim enthusiasts have preserved the patch and uploaded it to other websites, such as flightsim.com.
